What type of transmission fluid does my Chevrolet require?
Most modern Chevrolet 6-speed, 8-speed, and 10-speed transmissions require DEXRON® VI or DEXRON® ULV synthetic fluid. Using universal aftermarket fluids can cause shuddering or clutch damage.
What is the difference between a transmission drain/fill and a fluid flush?
A drain and fill replaces about 40-50% of the fluid in the pan. A complete fluid exchange flushes out virtually 100% of old fluid from the torque converter, lines, and cooler.
